About Riso pressure
The RISO printing principle is very similar to screen printing.
The risograph creates a computer-controlled "master" template, which is then stretched around an ink drum. The thermally burned "master" only lets ink through in the places where the artwork is. The ink drum rotates at high speed and shabulates the ink through the master template on the paper that shoots under the drum.
The ink is based on fairly produced soy oil and the masters of Japanese was coated paper. The machine uses very little energy because PRINTING RISO is a cold printing process.
